This famous ‘joke’ from Barry Burton, the greatest dad of the Resident Evil series, became an instant classic with fans. We’re still quoting it, repeating it, and shouting it at each other even as we’re nearing the release of Resident Evil 8.
The Jill Sandwich was referenced in the RE3Remake this year, so it isn’t going away. This is the peak, the absolute example of the ridiculous voice acting in the original Resident Evil — somehow, that game is still considered one of the scariest from our childhoods. We were a lot more susceptible to scares back then.
