By combining certain characters in your teams, you can unlock Team Bonus upgrades to specific stats in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3.

Depending on the characters you pick, you can get small boosts (3%) or significant upgrades (18%) on some stats. While these stat upgrades aren’t the most important part of your team make-up, they can still help out — and we were curious to see exactly which teams were the strongest.

The goal here was to calculate and see which team-ups give the biggest stat boosts. I selected a team for each significant stat — some stats don’t seem to get significant boosts, so I left out anything that doesn’t give at least a +10% boost. Below are my findings — a handful of teams that give major boosts to stats.

Interestingly, you’ll see a common thread here — the team-ups with the biggest boost always includes Wolverine and Psylocke.

These characters, which fit into multiple team-ups, provide a wide variety of boosts — as long as you also pick another X-Man and another Woman of Marvel. That gives you a lot of leeway, and more X-Men are coming soon, too.

It’s important to remember that Team Bonuses are just that — a bonus. These are absolutely optional, and don’t exactly create the best teams. We’re just focusing on the Team Bonus numbers here.
