Within the game mode, players must face against each other to be the last man standing. Most of the game will force players to scavenge items, create teams and laying down traps. Overall, the game is similar to other battle royale video games such as PUBG.

Right from the start of the game players will be introduced to a war between kingdoms Mor Ardain and Uraya.

Splatoon 2 is still retains the cartoonish and kid friendly shooter experience where teams attempt to cover the map with their team’s color. Likewise, Splatoon 2 also features a narrative journey single-player mode with other online game modes to face against players and friends.
