#12 Kid Steals Credit Card To Purchase V-Bucks
In-app purchases have sometimes been a real problem for parents. Sometimes, developers will entice players to make a purchase to get ahead in the game, boost stats or simply sport a unique skin. With Fortnite being one of the biggest games today, V-Bucks is one currency kids are seeking from their parents.
V-Bucks will grant players to buy in-game content such as skins and if a kid can’t get their parent to cooperate willingly, they can take things into their own hands. There’s a slew of videos online in which kids steal credit card information or use PayPal details that were previously saved on their console in order to rank up some V-Bucks.
These kids oftentimes film the event calling it a “prank” as they make the purchase, use the V-Bucks and wait for their parents to get the phone notification, resulting in parents flipping out.
