Anthem

- Publisher: Electronic Arts
- Platforms: PC, PS4, XBO
- Release: March 2019
After being delayed in 2018, Anthem is slated to launch in March of 2019. The video game is the next IP release under BioWare in which players are set to a distant alien planet being colonized. However, this alien planet is hostile with creatures lurking about. In order to keep humanity safe, players will step into the role of a Freelancer, a special task force that explores the world and take out the various threats. Likewise, this seems to be a game worth playing with friends with BioWare making mention of four-player cooperative gameplay. As it sits right now, Anthem could play similar to Destiny, though we’ll have to wait and see what new information is released into the public before we can really compare the two IPs.

The Sinking City
- Developer: Frogwares
- Publisher: Bigben Interactive
- Platforms: PC, PS4, XBO
- Release: June 27, 2019
The Sinking City is a game that was originally meant to be Call of Cthulhu until developers, Frogwares, decided to make their own creation. Now this heavily inspired H.P. Lovecraft title is something that has plenty of gamers eyes focused on for a release in June of this year. Players will follow a private investigator by the name of Charles W. Reed who is in New England seeking answers to why the city has been suffering from massive floods. From the look of the teaser trailer, there is clearly something supernatural affecting the area and a dark mystery that will need to be unveiled.
This is not only a horror-themed title but you will have a world filled to explore. There are even some game mechanics that will change as you progress along with various actions you perform in any given scenario. Developers are not sharing too much information in regards to the narrative or what all gamers can expect with the in-game mechanics but so far this is one title that may be a day one purchase on our end.
