Saas Ko’sah Shrine – A Major Test of Strength
This shrine is located inside Hyrule Castle. Swim into the Docks from the northern face of the castle. There’s a cavern entrance Link can swim into and access the underground area. Take the stairs up and light the large brazier in the upper chamber of the docks to make this shrine appear.
Link must overcome a Guardian Scout Mk. 4 to complete this shrine. These are some of the toughest opponents in Hyrule, so come prepared. Use the royal weapons available in Hyrule Castle, collect Ancient Arrows, and bring weapons with lightning / ice elemental effects.
Lightning will stun the Guardian, while ice will freeze — when frozen, attack to shatter the Guardian and dish out triple damage. Ancient Arrows will quickly slaughter the Guardian, but they’re rare and expensive.
To make matters more complicated, the chamber features no pillars. You’ll need to use Magnesis to lift up the metal pillars and block spin charges.
Take the Guardian Scout down and grab your treasure on the way to the altar.
