Out of all the game's revealed for the Wii U so far, Ubisoft's ZombiU has been the most impressive — at least for me, anyway. This latest developer diary just drives that point even more.
In the video, Lead Writer and Story Design Director Gabrielle Shrager walks us through the game's locales and even some of the game's characters. I'm honestly not expecting The Walking Dead-levels of narrative here, but what's shown is quite interesting to say the least.
Give it a watch now.
There's talk of the "Black Prophecy" and how we get to control three different characters in the game and whatnot, but I assume people are keeping an eye out for the game due to the way it uses the GamePad. Sadly, though, we won't get to see that until the next episode rolls around and that's not until next week.
However, from what we know, the Wii U GamePad will be used to access the game's map, inventory and even be part of the player's main point-of-view, I'n really hoping that the game won't rely on gimmicks but will use it to add to the overall game experience. Based on what we've seen so far, Ubisoft might be on the right track,
ZombiU is scheduled to hit the same day as the Wii U launches, which is on November 18.
