Hideo Kojima, along with the entire Kojima Productions crew recently took to the stage in Japan in celebration of Metal Gear's 25th Anniversary.
One of the key announcements at the event was the official reveal that there will officially be a Metal Gear movie! It will be made in association with Columbia Pictures and Avi Arad (The Amazing Spider-Man, Iron Man) will be producing.
Arad even took to the stage to state, "For many years I fought to bring comics to theaters – and video games are the comics of today,"
Sadly, no other details has been shared; though Famitsu has a couple of pictures of the event. For now though, we're left wondering who's going to direct it, which actor will play Solid Snake, what part of the game will the storyline focus on, etc.
Hopefully, Solid Snake English voice-over actor David Hayter will make a cameo at some point, no? Either that or use his voice in some capactiy seeing as his voice IS Snake.
Which director would you want to make this Metal Gear movie? Also, which actor would be a good fit without overshadowing the franchise itself?
