Previously, BioWare has had no shame to shut down possible support for the Xbox Scorpio, but in a recent interview, they acknowledged that that was more because of the game’s March release date. Speaking to the Official Xbox Magazine, Director Mac Walters said that one day the game could support the Scorpio, if a Game of the Year edition, or something of that sort, were to release.
“Given our Spring release date, I’m not sure exactly what we’re going to be able to support at that time, but we have a strong service plan for ME that will continue past our release date. If we do a Game of the Year edition, or a future edition or something like that, that’s something we’d definitely consider looking at, for sure.”
Mass Effect: Andromeda is set to release March 21 on Xbox One, PS4, PC and the PS4 Pro with minor enhancements – Scorpio details, however, remain suspended.
