Thanks to a fresh exploit, players have discovered a way to earn an completely unreasonable amount of loot in The Division. We’re not talking about regular loot runs — this is “loot cave” levels of loot.
Tons of treasure, all spawned and respawned endlessly with a nasty little trick that seemingly only works in one specific mission location; WarrenGate Power Plant. You don’t even need to run through the mission, and you’ll only need to kill a handful of goons to get the treasure train rolling.
As seen in the Youtube video created by GunBrothersGaming, players are able to camp at the WarrenGate Power Planet mission waypoint after killing a swarm of goons, and endlessly reseting — leaving behind tons of items. Green, purple and yellows are all getting dropped, and in multiples. Items, crafting materials and more are all represented.
This is actually a sequel to another farming field guide on the same channel, describing what you’ll need to do in greater detail — if you’re new to this whole loot farming thing. Admittedly, we kind of are, so check out the original vid right here. The original post that detailed this method was originally found on the Division Reddit, so browse there for more details.
Before getting started, you’ll need a few things…
- Requirements:
- 3+ FireCrest Equipment Equipped
- Accomplished Knee Pads Equipped
- 6000 Electronics Parts
- And the XP Bonus
Basically, this is how it all works:
- Go to the WarrenGate Power Plant [Level 34] and start on Normal Difficulty.
- Throw a Turret into the first batch of enemies at the front gates.
- The Flame Turret will do wonders here, but any sufficiently powerful turret will work.
- Return to the WarrenGate Power Plant mission waypoint — and start the mission. Over and over.
- Rinse and repeat. Every time you restart, the batch of goons will respawn and the turret will kill them.
- Keep going for 30 / 60 minutes to earn a upwards of 250 / 500 pieces of loot.
Very simple to accomplish, but completely insane. This isn’t technically a glitch, but it definitely feels like an exploit. We’ll see how long this crazy loot farming method lasts, so take advantage while you can.
