If you've ever played any Dead or Alive game, chances are you noticed a few things from the franchise aside from the good fighting engine.
I'm of course, talking about the series' trademarked "breast physics" and how it either amused or annoyed different gamers to no end.
In saying that, Team Ninja producer Yosuke Hayashi reveals to PlayStation Universe that the development team went "hands-on" with "partners" and other members of the studio in order to get the breast physics "right" for Dead or Alive 5.
Yep, you read that right. The words "breast physics" and "hands-on" were used in the same sentence and I honestly do not know what to make of it.
In addition, Hayashi was asked what he wanted to say to people that think Dead or Alive 5's female fighters are interpreted as "sexist." Hayashi responded that all the team wanted to do was make "the cutest chicks in videogames," and added, he thinks the team achieved it.
So what do you make of this all? Scratch that, I don't think I want to know…at least Itagaki's influence is still with the studion in spirit, no? And yes, I'm kidding.
Dead or Alive 5 and it's "breast physics" that are "right" will ship on September 25 for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
