Futuristic RPG Torment: Tides of Numenera’s Release Date is Confirmed

December 15, 2016 by Katrina Filippidis

Pre-orders now available.

One billion years from now, inXile Entertainment’s upcoming RPG Torment: Tides of Numenera exists in a world that is the complete antithesis of the Earth we know today. It’s a world where visitors from other universes, transdimensional alter egos, and a labyrinth that depends on neither time nor space are the norm.

Described as a game “about choices“, Tides of Numenera is the successor to 1999’s Planescape: Torment, and after a long developmental journey, Tides of Numenera has an official release date. The game is designed to be a system made up of intricate choices, with consequences and myriad meaningful decisions that will make each playthrough different to the last.

Torment: Tides of Numenera will launch on February 28 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PS4. Pre-orders for the Day One Edition and the Collector’s Edition are now open via the website. Both editions come with different loot items, like an exclusive SteelBook, which interested players can check out via the comparison video.
