Battlefield 1 will be unlike the previous titles in the series in numerous ways beyond its World War 1 setting. One of the new features coming to the game is the addition of a Spectator Mode, allowing players to watch games in action, record them, and share them with others.
The new Spectator Mode won’t be available upon the game’s October 18 launch, but it will come out soon after.
According to the Battlefield Blog, the mode will include a variety of tools for gamers on all platforms.
Players can join games in progress, view the game by attaching cameras to specific players or vehicles, while moving them around to get a good view of the action. Players can, of course, fly around in free mode.
Camera behavior can also be customized with some pre-made shots, or create their own settings by messing around with the speed, sensitivity, FOV and DOF, and even add filters.
