For avid fans who were waiting for the release of Final Fantasy XV since forever, this past September 30th was a disheartening reminder of the latest delay for the game’s launch. But these extra two months won’t have viewers empty-handed, for sure. At TwitchCon, an hour of new footage was revealed for Final Fantasy XV, with more side quests to embark on, and new monsters to face in battle.

We’re enlisted into taking a photo of our hometown in one of the game’s side-quests. While trying to reach the picture spot overlooking the city, the party faces patrolling enemy forces standing in their path. With that out of the way, the crew goes to a forest thicket and takes on a Bandersnatch boss. Using the Lucii ring creates a death-like spell that Noctis can use to drain the life energy from inside an enemy. If you want to rent Chocobos, you’ll be able to get a seven day lease on them. They come in different colors (black, white, yellow) and each variety has their own special ability.
