The development team behind Horizon Zero Dawn, Guerrilla Games, still has plenty of work to go through for their upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive title as it doesn’t release until February 28, 2017. However, since its grand reveal, we’ve been seeing more and more in terms of gameplay.
Today a new trailer has started to emerge online after being unveiled at this year’s Tokyo Game Show event. Unfortunately, the video game trailer is in Japanese, regardless, there’s plenty of gameplay footage worth checking out the video clip above.
While the overall story of Horizon Zero Dawn is set to take place in the distant future after the collapse of modern society, in this trailer we see a bit of life before everything turned into ruins. Likewise, another interesting aspect of this trailer that we haven’t seen highlighted in the past was enemies outside of the robotic creatures.
Our main protagonist Aloy, a hunter, and explorer will come across other tribes in which she will have to use her skilled cunning and weaponry to defeat the opposing threats. Once again, this is an upcoming video game by the development team Guerrilla Games and it happens to be the first intellectual property released since the start of their Killzone franchise.
As it stands right now, the PlayStation 4 release will be hitting store shelves in North America on February 28, 2017, while other markets will see a release in early March 2017.
