Fallout Shelter took a big step forward when it introduced quests in their 1.6 update, and it looks 1.7 hopes to expand on what’s offered there. To help tie-in with the upcoming Nuka World expansion (releasing on August 30th for Fallout 4), Fallout Shelter is getting some special event content to commemorate the occasion.
Upon completion of the themed quest, Nuka-World mascots Bottle and Cappy will show up in your vault. Tap on them when they drop on in, and you get Caps and Nuka-Cola Quantum. That Quantum will come in handy if you’re impatient and want to skip quests. But why would you want to miss out on the new 1.7 quest content? In this update, there are a wide variety of new missions being added, including weekly events and special holiday occasions. Finally, 1.7 will have new objectives for Overseers to deal with back at Vault home.
Fallout Shelter is available on iOS and Android mobile devices, as well as PC. For all the latest news, check out their website, Twitter, and Facebook.
