If you all remember back in the good old days of the NES, there was the game genie. Those games definitely needed it because anyone not skilled enough (including myself) could not fathom trying to beat something like Kid Icarus on their own. One company has brought the game genie back. Hyperkin has their Game Genie for the 3DS, DS, DSi, DSiXl, DS lite etc., etc., on sale currently for $20.
Their next Game Genie product is coming to the PS3. The device will be a thumb drive (usb drive, pen drive, what have you) that you can hook into your computer’s usb port and download save files for games like Arkham City or Uncharted. You would then safely remove the thumb drive from your computer and place it into your PS3 and transfer the file(s) onto your PS3. After that you’re ready to go.
This is something that I’m looking forward to. Too long have I been forced to sit for hours on end through drudgery and misery in a lot of games. (*cough*FinalFantasyXIII*cough*) It’s about time that I’m able to cheat my way through a game that I just want to finish so I can find out what happens.
You can check out this little device at Hyperkin’s booth at E3 this weekend.
