We’ve seen some footage of Kingsglaive during Square Enix’s Final Fantasy event earlier this year. Now new videos have emerged online from the Active Time Report. While the new footage is in Japanese, you can get a sneak peek of what’s to come for the upcoming feature film.
The first video is a Japanese theatrical trailer for Kingsglaive while the second video is a trailer that introduces viewers to some of the cast of the main characters. Again, these videos are for the Japanese release of Kingsglaive so don’t expect any English or English speaking actors.
Kingsglaive is a featured animated film that will act as a companion to the upcoming Final Fantasy XV video game release. Overall, the story of Kingsglaive will follow the elite warriors who had served under Notics’s father, Lucis.
So far the film has been set to release on July 8, 2016, in Japan. Though the Japanese release will have their own unique cast members attached to the film, it was revealed that Sean Bean, Lena Headey, and Aaron Paul would be portraying some of the main characters within the English dubbed release.
For Final Fantasy XV, the upcoming video game is set to launch worldwide on September 30, 2016, for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms. Take a look at the new trailer posted above along with gallery for both the film and upcoming Final Fantasy XV video game down below.
