Despite rumors and suggestions that Tekken 7 will only release on the PlayStation 4 platform, it’s been confirmed that the video game will also see a launch on the Xbox One and PC. This confirmation was spotted at Xbox One UK.
Recently, the MCM London Comic Con was held and within the event Bandai Namco Entertainment happened to be present. Thanks to a user on Twitter that goes by @Supernintendo, we’re finding out that Tekken 7 will not see a release strictly on the PlayStation 4 platform.
According to a Bandai Namco representative, the upcoming beloved fighting franchise installment will see a release on the Xbox One and PC. This is after rumors suggested the fighting franchise has become a PlayStation 4 exclusive.
Unfortunately, there was no word on when the video game will be launching in the west. So far, Tekken 7 is only available within arcades in Japan. As for the storyline for Tekken 7, the game is said to have taken a darker approach that resembles a tone closer to Tekken 4. Likewise, this will show the conclusion of the Mishima clan saga.
While we wait on the official release date for Tekken 7, take a look at the game trailer posted above and some game screenshots in the gallery below.
