I/O Interactive has finally set a release date for 007 First Light for Nintendo Switch 2.

Last month, I/O announced they would have to delay the Switch 2 version to March 2027, so that they could get this version of the game up to expectations. Today, they finalized that date.
007 First Light is launching on Switch 2 on March 18, 2027. They also announced the pre-order bonuses for this version, with a huge one just for Nintendo fans; the Goldeneye Suit.
As implied, the Goldeneye costume is the spitting image of the format suit Pierce Brosnan wore in the 1995 movie, and also harkens to the Rare Nintendo 64 shooter.
Other pre-order bonuses include 4 Deluxe Outfits, the Agent’s Mark pistol, and the Gleaming pack.
I/O Interactive did not receive the benefit other Nintendo partners like Capcom, Square Enix, and CD Projekt RED received in advance access to the Switch 2 dev kits. At this point, there should be no debate that the console can run current generation games, but developers do need to put the work in for optimization.
