XBOX wants to know if their own fans want to make their whole slate exclusive to them.

As reported by Windows Central, they have put out a new survey asking if they want the following games to become exclusive to XBOX:
- Fallout
- The Elder Scrolls
- DOOM
- PHYSINT
- Diablo
- Minecraft
The survey clarifies they wouldn’t remove games already on other platforms, but they would stop sending new content moving forward. The survey even asks if they would want all of XBOX’s games to go console exclusive, with the only exception being Call of Duty.
As Jez explained, it’s unlikely for XBOX to actually take the latter nuclear option, with how much of Activision’s, Blizzard’s, and Bethesda’s fans are on PlayStation and Nintendo.
Furthermore, Call of Duty is not the only game under XBOX that they committed to keeping multiplatform. Such a move would definitely bring the regulators calling.
But obviously, asking doesn’t equate to them doing it. What’s fascinating is that XBOX asked at all.
They may be doing this research to decide how many games they will make exclusive to Project Helix, to give it a successful launch.
