What do we say about a Switch 2 port that wasn’t even announced?

There have been longstanding rumors that Starfield is actually being worked on for the Switch 2. In fact, last April Taiwan’s video game rating agency actually rated the game for the system.
But neither Bethesda/XBOX nor Nintendo have confirmed that this port is in the works. Last March, Nate the Hate confirmed that it is in development, but it was not a smooth process.
Jump to now, Nate the Hate has said this:
Starfield port for Switch 2 hit lots of obstacles and development hurdles. I don’t know if it has been shelved or not at present; but it wouldn’t surprise me.
It was struggling well before any layoffs happened.
I don’t have confirmation of cancellation; but I don’t have any recent info to suggest the issues have been remedied, either. When you factor in MS changing multiplatform stance and layoffs… odds are not favorable.
Starfield did not sell that much better on PS5. But there could still be an opportunity for Starfield with Nintendo fans if Xbox can make it work.
