Nintendo has chimed in on whether GTA 6 could come to the Switch 2.

In an interview with Variety, Nintendo of America President and COO Devon Pritchard said this:
That’s going to be a conversation for Take-Two and Rockstar, but nothing to announce on my end at this time.
The prospect of GTA finally coming to Nintendo has been swirling recently, but there’s more to it than just the rumors.
Take-Two has a good relationship with Nintendo, arranging for WWE 2K to come to Nintendo consoles as far back as 2016. Last year, the huge rumor was Shiver directly helped Visual Concepts to make the Switch 2 version of WWE 2K25.
And of course, the Switch and Switch 2 received ports of Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.
The recent rumors are that the port is currently in development. So while we could take Devon’s words to mean that no port has been approved, we could also take it to mean Rockstar has to announce it even if she knows about it.
So this has still not debunked the rumor, at all.
