XBOX has revealed their new limited edition Gears of War: E-Day Xbox controllers.
The retail version of the controller clearly goes beyond what everyone expected. As Xbox describes it:
Drawing from the E-holes that scar the world of Gears of War: E-Day, the controller features 3D molded, laser-etched details of cracked asphalt with red, glowing cracks created by the power of an erupting E-hole, exposing the iconic Crimson Omen beneath the surface.
In the meantime, the Xbox Design Lab exclusive controller features exclusive artwork from Luke Preece. Preece has worked for bands like Metallica and comic books like Heavy Metal. He also designed Gears of War: E-Day’s logos and insignia.
Finally, to cap off your new controller collection, 8bitdo has made a matching charging dock for the retail Gears of War: E-Day controller, featuring the same cracked asphalt design.
