Back in February 2013, Paranautical Activity first became available on the Steam store. It’s been over three years since then, but soon you’ll be able to get the game on Playstation 4 and Vita. At the core of it, the developers say the game “combines the classic FPS action of games like Doom and Quake, with the randomness and difficulty of modern roguelikes like Binding of Isaac and Spelunky.
Just in case you aren’t aware of what Paranautical Activity is about, here’s a refresher. It’s part First Person Shooter, part Roguelike. A combination of fast gameplay and procedural generated levels. There’s 100 different items to collect, and you’ll be running into 40 kinds of enemies during your journey. I should warn you, the game has a dubstep soundtrack. But if you like that kind of music, consider that another selling point.
If you want to check out the Playstation store page for Paranautical Activity, you can find it over yonder. You’ll be able to play it on May 31st in North America, and June 1st in Europe. But if you want to play it right now, you can buy the Steam version.
