Telltale Games have worked on some incredibly popular franchises over the years such as The Walking Dead and Back to the Future. The next franchise they will be touching on for a video game series is Batman. We’re unsure just what the game will feature or if it will pertain to any of the films or comic book series, but we do know that Telltale Games will officially reveal details of their upcoming Batman video game at SXSW 2016, which is set later this month.
As mentioned, Telltale Games has had a good amount of success when it comes to delivering licensed franchise video games in the past and their next installment that will be released on the market will be based around the Caped Crusader. However, details on this video game will not be released until during SXSW on March 18, 2016. Luckily for you, the event is open to the public so if you’re in the area, you can fully take advantage in checking out the Telltale Games Batman installment in-person.
According to the post within Telltale Games website, the announcement is set for 4:30 PM at Austin Convention Center within Ballroom C. This event is free so gamers can freely attend the event without having to worry about paying any fees for admittance. Additionally, within an interview with Kotaku, Telltale Games amps up the hype surrounding their Batman game, but was unable to give any details. Fortunately, we won’t be waiting very much longer.
Our Batman series is looking fantastic. I think it might become one of the best things we’ve ever done. I can’t go into much detail, but the Batman team is amazing and they are really on top of it. It’s not like any other Batman game out there.
