Known for his carefree attitude, the late painter Bob Ross has been immortalised in XCOM 2 thanks to the work of valiant modders who have captured some of his most memorable sayings for a new voice pack.
Created by modder Tdc733, the voice pack includes more than 75 different phrases by Ross. Some of the lines uttered include “We don’t make mistakes, we have happy accidents”, “Let’s build a happy little cloud,” and “That’s a fun cloud, you’ll enjoy that.”
Frankly, it’s hard to imagine anyone who could make you feel safer and more secure than Ross, even as you battle to topple an alien occupation of the planet. That being said, the modder has also created a separate Arnold Schwarzenegger voice pack. That mod includes lines from the likes of Batman & Robin, Jingle All the Way, and Terminator.
Another notable XCOM 2 mod is the Star Wars helmet mod, which allows you dress up your soldiers as stormtroopers (of both the Empire and First Order variety), scout troopers, Republic Commando Clone Troopers, and even Boba Fett. There’s also a mod that lets you use a dog as a gun because, well, why not?
