Hitman Go, the surprise mobile hit that first debuted on iOS in 2014, has received a console port and today it launches across three new platforms. Entitled Hitman GO: Definitive Edition, this turn-based puzzle take on the series, which features a unique diorama-style level design seen in our gallery below, is now available on PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and PC via Steam. It brings with it improved graphics and all the previous updates featured in the original (including the Blood Money mission from Hitman, the chapter update Airport, and the St. Petersburg Stakeout mission from Hitman 2: Silent Assassin), and removes all the in-app purchases to make the game more console and PC-appropriate. The Steam version also features full Steam cloud and controller support, as well as achievements, and trading cards.
In Hitman G0 and Hitman GO: Definitive Edition, players navigate “scale model type visuals” while encountering a wide array of enemies, sneaking or sniping their way through each level with the iconic tools of the trade bore by Agent 47, from distractions to disguises, to hiding spots and more. After its original iOS debut in April 2014 a release on Android devices followed in June 2014, with Windows phones getting the game in April 2015.
