It had been heavily rumored earlier today that Xenoblade would finally be making it’s way to the US. The wait seems to be finally over, it’s official, we’re getting Xenoblade in the US. Gamestop will be the place to be though, they have signed a deal with Nintendo making them the only retailer allowed to sell the game.
Theres no final release date, but it is said that the game will reach our shores in April of next year and will cost $49.99. This is all very exciting news, not just for Wii owners but for gamers in general. This game actually looks pretty fantastic.
So let this just be a lesson to you kids, if you yell and scream enough for something, you’ll eventually get it! I do think it’s a bit silly though that gamers had to whine this much to get Nintendo to release a game that already has been translated into English. I just worry that the game may not sell well due to this whole one retailer thing. I fear they will look to those numbers later as excuses to not release other games in the future.
