Bad luck just doesn't seem to stop for Activision as of late. Just last week it was reported that early copies of Modern Warfare 3 were sold at certain retailers, and now French news station, TFI News, is reporting that two delivery trucks containing the game were ransacked over the weekend. There were 400,000 euros worth of merchandise stolen in the first truck, all which were copies of MW3. The heist took place 10 kilometres south-east of Paris where the drivers were tear gassed and held at knife point after investigating a car crash that occurred in front of their vehicle.
The second heist occured near Mantes-la-Jolie on Saturday, where three hooded-men held up a vehicle that also contained sealed, retail copies of Modern Warfare 3.
The French news station claims that, in an effective Google translation, "A total booty amounted to over € 780,000" was stolen.
On a positive side of things, Activision will still make billions of dollars off of MW3 and still will be rich.
