Three Minutes of Skyward Sword Footage

October 25, 2011 by Mat Growcott

Skydiving, Colossus battles and Sealed Grounds, oh my!

This clip begins with a short section in which Link jumps from a high ledge, releases a parachute and drops happily to the ground. If that alone isn't enough to fill your need for Skyward Sword, the next three and a half minutes are also quite good – although they contain significantly less parachute.

At 2:17 we get a look at a new boss, big enough to have a serious impact on people who have been playing the series for a while. I'm sure we've had enemies that are this big before, but not quite as bulky. Attack its toes and no doubt it'll eventually fall, allowing access to the face, but some sources are saying that you'll come across these massive things more than once.

There's a lot in the video above, plenty to analyze if that's your sort of thing, new locations to glimpse over and even the music deserves a listen. It all boils down to one thing, Skyward Sword is looking pretty damn good.

Pretty. Damn. Good.
