Hideo Kojima and PlayStation 4 lead system architect Mark Cerny are travelling the world together to explore new technology, presumably for the new Kojima Productions upcoming projects.
Cerny made the announcement in his first ever tweet and said the duo would be investigating new tech for 10 days.

Both developers posted a series of images including a visit to the motion capture studio used by Ready at Dawn for The Order: 1886 and by Naughty Dog for The Last of Us, Kojima had his face scanned at a high-end photogrammetry tech lab, and met Star Wars: The Force Awakens director JJ Abrams.

It will probably be worth following both Twitter accounts over the next few days at least to see what they get up to next.
In December Kojima left Konami after a year long and often very public deterioration in the company's attitude towards the renowned developer. Shortly after he announced the creation of a new studio and a partnership with Sony to develop PS4 console exclusive games.
