A lot of games these days are accused of not being a "real game": walking simulators, conversation simulators, we have various terms for titles that fail to establish an objective or skill-based challenge and thus, they are often dismissed. But if you ask me, this could be the ultimate "not a real game"–how about an adventure game based on a show about nothing?
This mock-up is just that, a mock-up; there's no official Seinfeld game on the way. But in his spare time, Paradigm developer Jacob Janerka has been toying around with the idea with these pixel parodies of the show, to the delight of Reddit and beyond. He tells the Nerdist he "doesn't have a huge amount of content at the moment for it, early days… I was gauging the public’s interest, so far it’s blown me away.”
While Seinfeld was "about nothing" in that there wasn't a traditional narrative arc that the show clung to, there were definitely a lot of antics that could easily fit in an adventure game scenario. While licensing issues will likely be a huge deterrant in it becoming a full realized game, you should nonetheless show the dev some love and encourage him to make more of these mesmerizing .gifs.
