There’s a chance that Dragon’s Dogma, the 2012 RPG from Capcom, could get a sequel. In an interview with PC Gamer, the game’s producer Minae Matsukawa, director Kento Kinoshita, and PC producer Jon Airhart talked about bringing the original to PC, and the possibilities of a sequel.
Here are their comments on making a Dragon’s Dogma 2:
Thanks for your interest in the series! The Dragon’s Dogma development team members often talk about the possibility of a sequel. We’d love to hear the opinions and feedback from players of the upcoming PC port of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, as that will increase the chances that we can look into the possibility of continuing the series.
They also discussed bringing Dragon’s Dogma to the PC:
A PC version of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is something we had been planning for some time. We know it’s been a long wait, but we’ve brought the right team together to create the version of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen that our PC fans deserve.
It looks like feedback from PC players, along with sales numbers, could help decide if a Dragon’s Dogma 2 is ever released. For now, the original game launches on Steam on January 15, as reported last year.
