That Skyrim offers the best graphics in any modern RPG is undeniable. Doubly so on the PC, where the game can harness the higher specs of newer graphics cards and more powerful CPUs. That said, Bethesda isn't relying on the power of the PC to show off visuals of its latest game, with an all new showcase of screenshots taken on the Xbox 360.
Bethesda Softworks' brand new release of visuals shows off player characters in various poses as they cast spells, do battle against dragons and fire magical bows at angry grizzly bears. Also seen are a few unnamed NPCs and dare I say breathtaking environments.
Although the images were taken on the 360, their visual quality is undeniably good, lending credence to the assumption that the PC version of the game will look even better once both versions are released.
The Elder Scrolls Skyrim is set to release on November 11, 2011 on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
