The development team behind the ambitious Fallout 4 mod Fallout: London has revealed that they’ll be premiering the first official gameplay trailer for the mod on YouTube tomorrow. The mod project, which has been in development since 2018, is an exciting DLC-sized mod for Bethesda’s Fallout 4 set in post-apocalyptic London in the year 2237, which fits in between the events of Fallout 1 and Fallout 2.
The new gameplay trailer is scheduled to be revealed online tomorrow and promises to showcase the complete and unedited first level of the game. Fallout: London’s Project Lead Dean ‘Prilladog’ Carter made the surprise announcement earlier today, explaining that fans would get to see everything “from the moment you load it up, the introduction and the entire first level,” in the reveal trailer.
He also explained that the team has decided to share the gameplay reveal as a direct result of recent disappointments, as well as a celebration of the Fallout: London Discord server reaching 10,000 members. Carter explained that “with E3 cancelled this year, and Bethesda now cancelling their intended release dates of their upcoming games,” the team would be sharing their progress tomorrow. This comes off the back of some of the latest news around delays and cancellations of titles and events in the gaming world.
Fallout: London recently shared a progress video back in April that showcased some of the mod’s faction lore, a couple of its latest radio tracks and some of the in-game NPCs players will encounter on their adventures across Old Blighty. Although there’s still no official word on when the mod will be ready for release, it’s clear that the project is gaining real momentum as more updates are revealed.
If you want to watch the reveal trailer, you can set a reminder now on their YouTube channel. Or just tune in tomorrow, Wednesday, May 18th at 8.00 PM GMT+1 UK Time.
