Activision is taking on Mario Kart with this year's instalment of the Skylanders' franchise, SuperChargers.
Developed by Vicarious Visions and Beenox, SuperChargers is bringing an online and local co-op Adventure Mode, single player Adventure Mode, local player-vs-player split-screen racing for two, and online competitive racing for up to four players.
All Starter Packs for the game come with six race tracks; two for land, sea, and sky. There are hidden routes to explore, exciting power-ups, and diverse locations through Racing Mode. Environments are said to be dyanmic and voice-chat is enabled for friends.
"Skylanders fans told us they wanted to go head-to-head in online multiplayer with their friends and family, and we delivered. Skylanders SuperChargers enables gamers to race against friends all over the world and brings an exciting new expansion to the Skylanders gameplay experience," John Coyne, senior vice president of consumer marketing at Activision Publishing, commented in a press release.
Skylanders SuperChargers will be available from September 25th in Europe and September 20th in North America for the PS3, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. Skylanders SuperChargers Racing will be available on the same dates in both territories for Wii and 3DS.
