The so-called "death" of PC gaming remains one of the most widely cited myths, thanks to the proliferation of bad marketers whose interest rests in the popularity of videogame consoles. This myth and misconception remains a part of the public consciousness despite arguments to the contrary.
A newly produced infographic by Ignite Game Technologies aims to correct this misconception with hard facts, containing sales figures belonging to both PC and console revenues, the average time spent on games, and the variable price range of new titles on each platform.
Additionally, the infographic points toward the processing power of the average PC, allowing PC games much higher peaks in terms of performance, and visual quality, with very little sacrifice.
