We have confirmation from YouTuber LonelyMailbox that Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Zombies has a new travel system. You can subscribe to them on YouTube here.
There is a description of Morg City on the game’s official site which flat out mentions suspended railways as a form of transportation. It seems that this suspended railway will be the form of transportation that you will primarily be using in Shadows of Evil.
A very silly but blunt way of describing a suspended railway is that it’s a railway that’s upside down. Of course, what it actually is is an elevated monorail, with a fixed track that’s raised above street level for several reasons. It could be passing over a river, canal, or existing railway track. In any case, the trains are suspended from above the fixed track.
The suspended railway seems to be an elegant solution to transportation. Each trip on the railway will be able to bring you to a completely different area relatively quickly. If Shadows of Evil will have backtracking, it may get tedious to return from the same spot, but at least you won’t get lost.
How do you like the idea of traveling via suspended railway for the zombie missions? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
Call of Duty Black Ops 3 will be released on November 6, 2015, on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Windows.
