Fallout 4 is many months from release, but prospective modders have already begun work on mods for the game, the first of which comes from Zealotee, who's best known for contributing to Project Nevada for Fallout: New Vegas.
Zealotee explains in a Bethesda forum post that he stepped away from modding for awhile but Fallout 4 pulled him back into the scene.
He's developing weapon models for use in Fallout 4 as soon as the creation tools become available. He's making the Railway Rifle first. Modders will be able to import the models into the game.
For now, the models remain untextured and unanimated, but we can certainly see them working their way into weapon modifications for Fallout 4.
Mods developed on the PC version of the game are expected to be workable in the Xbox One version, and there are plans to bring mods to the PS4 version.
