Bethesda has accidently announced Dishonored 2 a day early during a Twitch stream test ahead of their E3 press conference.
An open mic – which was broadcasting live to Bethesda's Twitch stream – picked up a conversation between Harvey Smith, who co-directed the first Dishonored, Raph Colantonio, president of developer Arkane Studios, and Bethesda's vice-president of marketing Pete Hines.
The conversation was partially captured in the YouTube video below (audio only) and begins with the trio discussing an announcement in which Colantonio speaks in French. At the end of the recording someone informs those speaking that their conversation is being recorded live to the stream.
Bethesda has already commented on the incident, describing the Twitch "test" as a success.
Twitch test a success. Tune in tomorrow night at 6:45 pm PT for more surprises. #BE3

Dishonored 2's announcement was widely expected tomorrow and it now seems guaranteed. A Definitive Edition of the original Dishonored may also be in the works for PS4 and Xbox One.
