Charlie Intel teased on Twitter that fans can expect major Call of Duty Black Ops 3 news for this E3. In a sense, whatever information we get before isn’t really worth following compared to what we will be getting then.
The Xbox website seems to indicate there is no exclusive content first contract for Call of Duty this year. For previous Call of Duty games, this meant the game and its DLC came out one or two days before other platforms. This content first tag is found on other games on the site, such as Tom Clancy’s The Division. There’s no indication for now that this content will be coming first or at the same time on PlayStation or PC for now.
On Twitter, Treyarch’s developers have been sharing new details in replies to fans.
There are currently no plans to rent out ranked servers at the moment. Treyarch also is not ready to talk about unranked servers.
Treyarch confirmed some graphics features are already in development. You will be able to render different resolutions in one window, as well as use a texture upscale slider, like in Call of Duty competitor Battlefield.
Finally, we have a list of leaked weapons for the game. The list shares names of real guns, which video games generally avoid so they do not have to pay weapons manufacturers. Fans have decided this is proof the list is fake, but for the sake of completion, you can check out the list below.
Call of Duty Black Ops 3 will be released on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 6, 2015.
