Battlefield Hardline Pre-Order Deals with $10 Discount & Bonus

March 16, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

The latest spinoff in the Battlefield series arrives this week.

Determined to pick up a copy of Battlefield Hardline this week? Several retailers are offering decent enough incentives if you pre-order through their sites. Where exactly you'll find the best bonus/discount depends on what platform you're looking to buy for:

Battlefield: Hardline Deals:

  • Battlefield: Hardline (PC Origin Key) — $49.99 at GMG (list $60)
  • Battlefield: Hardline + Splinter Cell Blacklist (PC Origin Key) — $59.99 at Uplay
  • Battlefield: Hardline + $10 Rewards (PS4, PS3) — $59.99 at Best Buy
  • Battlefield: Hardline + $10 Xbox Gift Card (XOne, X360) — $59.99 at Microsoft

The Breakdown:

PC Download (Origin Key): PC gamers have two very decent options available. Probably the most newsy comes from the digital gaming retailer GMG, which just launched a $10 off discount as a part of its "VIP Gaming" sale. Just login or create an account on this page and you'll see the price dropped to only $49.99. Alternatively, if you buy the game through Uplay (which still activates on Origin) before Tuesday release, you'll get a free copy of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist.

PlayStation 4/3: PS4 and PS3 gamers are limited to a shingle retailer for a cash incentive. This week Best Buy offers the game with a bonus $10 on your "My Best Buy Rewards" card if you pre-order from them this weekend. Even bettering that, if you're a Best Buy Gamers Club Unlocked member (only a $30 membership now), you'll get a 20% discount to $48. Not bad, and if you want the game on Day One, you can always order online and pick up in store rather than wait on shipping.

Xbox One/360: Those on an Xbox would do well to pre-order from the Microsoft Store. Buying through them will get you a free $10 Xbox Gift Card, redeemable on Xbox Live. The gift card/code arrives in the email account associated with your Microsoft Store account.

Another reason you might want to pre-order Battlefield Hardline is the in-game pre-order bonuses you'll find just about anywhere. Essentially you get two bonuses: 1) a Versatility Battlepack, which gets you a versatile assault rifle, unique weapon camo skin, and a Teamplay Boost. 2) Three Gold Battlepacks, which you might recall were always nice to have in Battlefield 4.
