Evolve released last month to mostly postitive reviews. The title suffered from some pre-launch controversy regarding developer Turtle Rock Studios and their stance on downloadable content, but both the game and creator seem to have escaped from the fire relatively unscathed. It looks like Turtle Rock Studios will again be quieting the naysayers, as the company looks to release a free update to Evolve that will bring an 'Observer Mode' to the game's infrastructure.
This new mode will allow players to spectate live matches, which will allow a whole host of different streaming options. Expect there to be Evolve tournaments and such coming down the pipeline after this new mode debuts.
There's no specific day of release for this udpate, but we're betting that it will arrive sooner rather than later. Hopefully, it will be here as earlier as Evolve's next patch. Turtle Rock Studios needs to strike while the iron's hot if they want to maximize community engagement.
