Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor was one of last year's most popular gaming entities. The title released back in September and is still seeing lots of play, according to statistics released by Monolith Studios – the game's developer. Some of the more interesting features of this data show that:
- 5.65 billion Uruks have been killed by players.
- Players have collectively logged 74.6 million hours
- 1.3 billion Uruks have dispatched of other Uruks
- Players averaged about one death per hour
- In the same hour, gamers killed about 78 Uruk
- Players chose the sword as their weapon about 62 percent of the time.
