Driveclub’s next DLC goes into Japan, as the Asagiri Highlands Racetrack gets added this month.
The track goes up tomorrow, and they have previewing some of the tracks with some new cars as well. The cars are part of the Apex Expansion Pack, which will be coming between January 27 to 29, and of course are free if you bought the Season Pass. You can watch videos of these tracks and cars below.
This is the Jaguar C-X75 Concept running in the Takahagi Hills track.
This is the Caterham R500 Superlight, racing against the improved AI in an unnamed track.
And this is the Enzo Ferrari, racing in the Lake Shoji track.
Evolution Studios seems close to bringing the PlayStation Plus Edition of the game up soon as well. They discussed what is needed to make this possible, namely, adding Private lobbies, improving server performance, and other aspects of online play. They explained that this is all coming in a future update, and that they have a dedicated team working on it now.
Driveclub was highly criticized for its poor state at launch, but people who have stuck with the game attest that, at least graphics wise, it’s a far better game now.
