Last December, Capcom made it harder for fans of the Marvel vs. Capcom series to get their fix by delisting Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Marvel vs. Capcom 2 from PSN and XBLA. Curiously, Marvel vs. Capcom Origins managed to escape the fate of its brothers, but it can't run any further. Origins will be taken off PSN on December 23, while it'll leave XBLA on December 31.
Released in 2012, Origins is a dual pack digital release that includes Marvel Super Heroes and the original Marvel vs. Capcom. Capcom had to enter into a licensing agreement with Marvel for the use of its characters, and now that licensing period has run out. Rather than attempt to hash out a new deal, Capcom will instead let the games vanish into the abyss.
If you want the entire MvC saga on your machine, you better jump on this package before it disappears for good.
