Screenshots of Telltale Games’ Game Of Thrones seem to have leaked online. Telltale has yet to confirm if these screenshots are real, so take them with a grain of salt.
The screens are mostly closeups of characters, and mostly have very good facsimiles of the actors from the HBO series. Very recognizable are Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister, and Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister. Other characters seem to be completely new, and may be the characters from House Forrester who will be introduced to the Game Of Thrones universe via the game.
The House Forrester has not appeared in any Game of Thrones media prior to this, but their connection to the universe has been established. They are sworn to House Glover in Deepwood Motte, itself sworn to Winterfell. As Telltale themselves have revealed, you will be playing five members of the house, some servants and some part of the family itself. All are acting to save House Glover from certain doom.
In terms of aesthetics, Telltale have opted to imbue the game with a certain stylization instead of gunning for photorealism. It looks good, and matches the style of their other games, but it remains to be seen if Game of Thrones fans coming in from the books or the movies will like it.
