Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, another title that made its debut at this year's E3, is the Wii U sequel to Kirby: Canvas Curse on DS. Using the stylus, you'll draw paths on the GamePad to guide Kirby into items and navigate various courses. Though originally demonstrated as a single-player adventure, the latest Nintendo Direct confirmed that there will be a four-player co-op mode.
Since the Kirby player is focused so intently on the GamePad, the main TV is left just sitting there. Players two through four will be able to take command of Waddle Dees on the primary screen. Unlike the GamePad player, these players can directly control their Waddle Dees, who assist Kirby by lifting him across obstacles or picking up stray items.
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse will launch in February 2015. There's amiibo support as well, but Nintendo hasn't detailed that yet.
