BioWare has released a new trailer looking at the choices and the consequences of those choices available to players in Dragon Age Inquisition.
The races of Thedas "live alongside one another, sometimes in peace, and sometimes not. It is a world that has been on the brink of disaster before, and is once again."
The game begins with the creation of 'the Breach', which creates a link to the Fade and the demons who live there. In response, the Inquisition is founded to find out who created the Breach and discover how to close it.
As Inquisitor, your quest will take you across Thedas while the choices you make can have both large and small impacts on the characters and world around you. Gender, race, and class will have impacts on the story, with gender determining your romance options. Race can affect how the game's characters react to you (and will also have an impact on romances in some cases).
BioWare's famous dialogue wheel makes a return, and will also allow you to make a host of choices in the game. Some characters have personal quest lines which can only be unlocked if you win their trust. On the otherhand, some choices will force party members to leave you and Inquisition, never to return.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is set for release on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on November 18th in North America, November 20th in Europe, and November 21st in Ireland the UK. Yesterday, it emerged that the game started out as a multiplayer-only game code-named Blackfoot.
